Your role

  • Supporting the advanced development team on a variety of projects that entail design manufacturing and testing of prototypes necessary to arrive at proof of concept for a novel eye implant technology

  • In addition a fundamental part of the job is the analysis of the data obtained through testing with the support of software programs such as Phyton Matlab Origin.

  • Scientific literature research

  • Support in laboratory work incl. sample manufacturing in laboratory settings optical and mechanical testing and characterization of millimeter sized objects

Your profile

  • Ongoing studies in the field of natural science and engineering preferably with affinity for lab work and analytical mindset

  • Knowledge of data analysis programs and programming skills in Python (recommended) knowledge in MATLAB or Mathematica is an advantage

  • Knowledge in computer-assisted design with Creo Parametric is a plus

  • Crafty and creative personality

  • Tech-savvy and high curiosity about technology capabilities

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Fluent in English and German is an advantage

  • Clear and structured communication skills in written (presentations and reports)

  • Proactive attitude

  • Ability to work on site in Berlin
