Job Description
Speech-Language Pathologist
- Location: Brampton Ontario Canada
- Job Type: Full-Time Permanent On-site
- Salary Range: $85000 to $95000
Role Overview:
Speech-language pathologists diagnose assess and treat human communication disorders including speech fluency language voice and swallowing disorders. They are committed to improving patient health and well-being in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and evaluate speech voice resonance language fluency cognitive-linguistic and swallowing disorders through tests examinations and observations.
- Develop and implement remedial programs to correct various disorders.
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to establish personalized care plans.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders.
- Conduct research on communication disorders and diagnostic procedures.
- Supervise and instruct communicative disorders assistants students and other healthcare personnel.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the College of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of Ontario (CASLPO) and in good standing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to ongoing medical education.
- Proficient in managing diverse health issues across all age groups.
