Job Description
Construction Labourers

Key Information:
- Must have 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience.
- Must be able handle and distribute construction materials to and from work areas.
- Hours: Based on a 44-hour work week; however overtime is required during the busy season.
- Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
- Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
Job Description:
- Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies equipment and construction materials; move tools equipment and construction materials to and from work areas.
- Work on a wide variety of buildings structures and premises including municipal sewer and water mains roads dams and bridges tunnels railways and canals.
- Remove rubble and other debris.
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding ramps catwalks shoring and barricades at construction sites.
- Prepare and clean up construction sites move materials and equipment and perform demolition excavation and compaction activities.

Experience and Certification Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of industrial or civil construction or equivalent experience required.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020) WHMIS 2015 and ground disturbance 201 are required.
- You have experience in using compactors and trampers. (jumping jack)
- You are able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) 9-23 Kg.
- You have a safety conscious attitude and able to work with others in a team.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
