Description

The Operations Assistant is responsible for managing and distributing internal supplies across multiple company locations. This role maintains accurate inventory records updates our internal Shopify-based supply site prepares and delivers requested items and ensures locations have the necessary materials for smooth operations. This position also supports event preparation by organizing and transporting event supplies. Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified) is required.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and regularly update the internal Shopify site to reflect accurate stock levels and availability.
  • Receive process and fulfill internal supply orders for company locations.
  • Take regular physical inventory counts; reconcile with digital records to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize pack and transport supply orders to other locations as needed.
  • Prepare and stage supplies and materials for company events.
  • Communicate with location managers and staff regarding supply needs and restocking.
  • Assist with restocking and reorganizing inventory as needed.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment (must obtain forklift certification if not already certified).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the supply storage area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
  • Comfortable using technology including Shopify or other inventory platforms.
  • Physical ability to lift and move boxes/supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Valid drivers license.
  • Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
  • Ability to pass background check.
