Job Description

Job Title: Night Shift Maintenance Technician
Location: 252 W Jay Louden Road Carrollton KY
Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM 5:30 AM Monday Thursday)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Were currently seeking a dedicated Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations and help us reduce equipment downtime and maintain peak production efficiency.

Position Summary:

As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician at DRC Industries youll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our production machinery. You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and executing timely repairs to minimize unplanned downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair issues related to mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and assist in root cause analysis.

  • Document all maintenance work repairs and parts usage in the maintenance tracking system.

  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability.

  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with DRC safety and operational standards.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems motors drives and conveyors.

  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical systems is a plus.

  • Ability to read schematics blueprints and technical manuals.

  • Self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Willingness to work night shifts and occasional overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand bend kneel and climb ladders or stairs throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and varying temperatures.
