Job Description

Licensed Clinician (Psychologist Counselor)

Our clients mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals and families facing neurobehavioral disorders through comprehensive and innovative treatment. They employ a collaborative evidence-based approach utilizing a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.

Their goal is to address the needs of patients lacking specialized resources locally offering high-quality services for severe conditions and challenging co-morbidities. They are renowned for their evidence-based intensive treatment programs particularly for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) Severe Anxiety and Related Disorders.

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinician to join their parenting program. As part of this role youll contribute to their parenting program facilitating skills training for the team and guiding the implementation of parenting intensives. Your leadership will play a crucial role in developing and executing new parenting treatment protocols that resonate with their mission and values all with the aim of consistently improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the parenting program including skills training of the Team.
  • Supervise the implementation of parenting intensives to ensure effectiveness and adherence to protocols.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new parenting treatment protocols aligned with orginazinations mission and values.
  • Develop training materials and resources for staff members and parents drawing upon expertise to enhance overall clinical practice.
  • Lead intensive family programs to address complex family dynamics and challenges.
  • Coordinate Parenting Team supervision to foster collaboration and excellence in service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Family Systems approaches.
  • Expertise in Parent Training methodologies
  • Knowledge of Gottman Method Couples Therapy

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that patients and families are well informed and fully engaged in partnering with the orginization in treatment raising concerns to the team when that is not fully taking place.
  • Evaluate treatment recommendations and implementation to ensure the highest quality of care and fidelity to treatment.
  • Identify and address missing elements that may be barriers to providing extraordinary care.
  • Train staff in case management following the philosophy that no patient is left behind.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Professional (e.g. Psychologist Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI))
  • Demonstrated experience in program development supervision and implementation within a clinical setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience working with families affected by neurobehavioral disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
