What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Lead civil engineering design for land development projects (K-12 schools institutional commercial and private developments).
- Prepare site layout grading utility and stormwater management plans.
- Create technical reports engineering calculations and project specifications.
- Coordinate with clients contractors architects and internal team members.

Oversee and support the permit application and approval process.
- Attend occasional site visits during construction for quality control and project updates.
- Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers on best practices and project delivery.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Required)

5 years of experience in civil engineering (Required)

Minimum 3 years focused on land development design
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook (Office 365)

Knowledge of Michigan zoning ordinances and site plan approvals

K-12 school site experience is a plus (but not required)

Strong communication and project coordination skills

Must reside within 2 hours of Rochester Hills MI
Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Occasional travel to project sites or client meetings as needed
