Job Description
CDR Health Care Inc. is seeking individuals who are interested in working as a EMT Jacksonville FL within the state of Florida in the area for upcoming projects. Responsibilities potentially including but not limited to:
- Recording a patients medical information accurately
- Back-up relief for all staff positions as needed
- Adhere to all company policies and rules
- Perform specific tasks as requested by the incident commander or supervisor
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
- Communicate with patients family or friends to provide advice comfort and instructions
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure temperature heart rate etc. as needed
- Patient assessment and monitoring vital signs

Requirements
- Current State of Florida EMT license required in good standing
- Proven experience as an EMT
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Above average physical condition and stamina
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 pounds
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen background check
- Ability to provide Form I-9 documents that shows your identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- Other duties which may arise that commensurate with the title and position
- Full immunization record must be presented before hire Covid vaccine not included.
- BLS and ACLS certificates
- Bilingual (Highly Preferred not Required)
Schedule
Start date to be determined. This project is expected to start in the next couple of months.
- Day Shift 7:30 am -6 pm
- Open Monday to Saturday
