ABOUT THE POSITION:The National Accounts Manager plays a crucial role in driving the profitable growth of Camp and PrideSports sales within specific National Accounts across North America. This entails the execution of effective sales strategies to deliver growth and analyzing market trends product sell-through data product assortment and competitive landscape. To ensure seamless collaboration this role will work closely with our independent manufacturer sales rep agencies to align all accounts successfully. Constant communication with the product design team is essential to provide valuable feedback while also collaborating with various departments such as sales operations marketing demand planning and finance. Strong business acumen proficient financial negotiation skills and exceptional customer relationship management capabilities are essential for success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategically develop and grow product assortment within key National Accounts while ensuring brand consistency in both product assortment and brand efforts.
- Maintain strong initiative-taking communication and close working relationships with National Account partners to identify market trends and ensure long-term partnership success.
- Maintain prompt and responsive communication and collaboration with rep agency partners and internal team members.
- Present promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers using compelling arguments.
- Coordinate with company personnel including support service and management resources to account for performance objectives and customer expectations.
- Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in designated accounts.
- Lead negotiations facilitate complex decision-making processes and address objections to achieve closure.
- Actively participate in internal and external sales-related meetings.
- Forecast sales and drive achievement of sales goals on a quarterly basis.
- Continuously assess clarify and validate customer needs.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and foster brand loyalty.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the consumer goods or outdoor recreation industry required preferably working with independent sales rep agencies.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale accounts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to effectively interact with all levels of an organization including C-level contacts and build valuable customer relationships.
- Exceptional negotiation and critical thinking skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Proficient MS Office Suite skills (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Travel required 40% to brand HQ locations account offices and retail stores.
- Represent Gathr at select trade shows.

- Must be willing to travel extensively both domestic and international to visit clients attend industry events and build relationships with key stakeholders establishing a strong presence in target markets and executing sales initiatives.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members candidates and external partners through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer. Must be able to receive and convey information.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets meeting rooms copier/printer etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Must be able to set up/take down trade show booth & handle related materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Works in a typical office environment and at times may travel for business-related meetings events tradeshows etc.
