Were seeking a remote Field Service Dispatcher whos passionate about delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. Coordinate and dispatch field service tasks for Life Fitness technicians across assigned U.S. and/or Canadian regions using Zendesk and internal scheduling tools
Respond to technician inquiries via shared email inbox and phone providing timely assistance creating and updating service tasks and ensuring smooth field operations
Collaborate closely with the call center to answer customer questions follow up on open service issues and maintain a consistent customer-first experience
Review and adjust service task details including travel and labor time approvals while maintaining alignment with technician schedules and customer expectations
Create and manage follow-up service requests as needed to ensure completion of multi-stage service jobs
Order and track service parts ensuring timely delivery and availability for technician assignments
Proactively monitor service reports including tracking backordered parts managing administrative closures (e.g. vacation personal time other admin status) and identifying opportunities for operational improvements
Support new technician onboarding updating system dispatch rules scheduling parameters and technician eligibility criteria
Update technician status and coverage plans including removing inactive techs and identifying regions needing additional field service support
Contribute to special projects and support evolving service team priorities through flexible cross-functional coordination
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities ensuring service excellence customer satisfaction and technician support in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
Associates degree or equivalent coursework required; Bachelors degree preferred
24 years of experience in a customer-facing service support or dispatching role
Strong technical aptitude and mechanical understanding; able to navigate service logistics and systems
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a proactive and professional approach
Problem-solver with a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced remote environment with multiple priorities
Demonstrated team-player mindset and a desire to learn grow and contribute to shared success
