Job Description
Acute Care Clinics of America is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Jamestown team. In this full-time Monday - Friday Position youll support patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting alongside our providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with patient care under provider supervision
Prepare and maintain clean organized exam rooms and equipment
Support clinical procedures and complete medical documentation
Help manage patient flow and ensure timely communication
Greet patients warmly and maintain a professional caring attitude
Respond effectively in emergencies
Follow all safety infection control and clinic procedures
Qualifications:
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Experience in a busy medical office preferred; new grads welcome
Comfortable with basic computer tasks; EMR experience a plus
Team player with ability to work independently
Up-to-date BLS certification required
Phlebotomy experience and e-MDs software knowledge a plus
Willingness to learn motivational interviewing and teach-back techniques
