Job Description
We are looking for responsible enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Junior Camp Counselors. This is a great opportunity for students or first-time job seekers to gain valuable experience working with children in a fun and supportive summer camp environment. Junior Counselors assist senior staff with daily activities and help ensure a positive and safe experience for all campers.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times.
- Assists with instruction and prepares teaching materials/supplies as directed by the teacher.
- Assists students with technology or other audio equipment.
- Ensures that arrival and dismissal procedures and conducted in a safe and orderly manner.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers assistants staff and administration.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum age: 15
- Enjoy working with children and being part of a team
- Reliable punctual and willing to learn
- Friendly and respectful attitude
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative
- Prior experience (e.g. babysitting tutoring volunteering) is a plus but not required
Pay Range: $15/Hour
