Job Description
Position: Civil Engineer Practice Leader
Location: Murfreesboro TN
Duration: Full-time permanent
Salary: $125000 - $150000 / DOE
Job Description:
The Practice Leader will oversee the project design client communication permitting and management on a wide range of commercial and residential development projects. This position will be responsible for expanding the civil practice and collaborating in-house with other civil engineers landscape architects and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public and private projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts to expand practice locally
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the department including design of land development projects and managing office staff
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Manage clients and the internal team to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met
- Supervise project lifecycles from conception to completion
- Coordinate business development with other internal departments and offices
- Create and adhere to budgets projections and forecasting
- Serve as subject matter expert in site design
- Perform additional related duties as needed
Requirements:
- Active PE license
- 10-15 years of proven experience in site design
- 5 years of previous employee management experience
- Self-motivated team-oriented individual
- Strong communication skills
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
