Job Title: Network Delivery Engineer (NDE) - 1 YoE - 1-3

Job Summary:
As a Network Delivery Engineer you will be responsible for the execution of network provisioning tasks and 24/7 continuous monitoring initial troubleshooting and escalation of network infrastructure and service incidents. This role requires strong problem-solving skills a foundational understanding of networking concepts and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment to ensure maximum network uptime and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling BAU tasks:
- Conduct network provisioning deployments.
- Perform Firewall configuration which includes ACL management Periodic Firewall reviews and IPSec/NAT.
- Perform periodic Patch Management for Network switches/firewalls and servers.
- Upgrade OS for network devices to maintain a stable environment.
- Undertake network maintenance activities during business off-peak hours.

Performance Optimization:
- Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations to ensure the network operates at peak efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune network parameters and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

Network Automation:
- Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine network tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Integrate automation tools and frameworks to support network provisioning monitoring and management.

Incident Response and Resolution:
- Act as a primary on-call engineer in resolving complex network incidents and outages and file RCAs wherever applicable.
- Function as L1 point of escalation for Network Operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in network operations network engineering or a related role.
- Familiarity with Data Center topologies and network routing and switching concepts like BGP OSPF VLAN VRRP etc. Knowledge of VxLAN will be an added advantage
- Basic scripting and automation skills with entry-level proficiency in languages like Python Go Shell and orchestration tools like Ansible Salt or similar.
- Basic fundamental knowledge of Linux esp. Distributions like Ubuntu and RHEL and web-servers like Nginx and Apache2.
- Experience in a 24x7 on-call rotation environment and in handling critical incidents.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Certifications/Course Completion for Cisco CCNA/Juniper JNCIA or equivalent would be an added advantage.
