Job Description
Your mission
- Performing hydrodynamic and seakeeping calculations for the design of roll damping systems
- Conducting and analysing model tests and CFD calculations (both in-house and external)
- Carrying out the sea trials and performing on-board measurements
- Coordinating with the shipyards ship designers and classification societies
- Providing technical support to sales including proposal preparation and specification development
- Performing stability calculations (e.g. for floating docks and crane ships) and validating the loading computer output data
Your profile
- A degree in Naval Architecture or a comparable technical discipline preferably at the masters level
- Familiarity with various CFD tools is advantageous
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB is considered a strong asset
- Excellent command of English and good proficiency in German both written and spoken
- A goal-oriented proactive and assertive approach to work
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team environment
- Practical experience in a maritime setting is highly desirable
