The Program Coordinator Hospitalist assists Hospitalist leadership in daily operations supporting metro and regional/critical access sites. This position is weekday Monday-Friday and partially remote.
Position will work on compiling and validating Hospital Medicine data create files and work efficiently with numerous Microsoft and other IT platforms.
Specific responsibilities will include effective communication skills with all SLPG and Regional locations to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the hospitalist program.
Coordinator will have administrative duties working in collaboration with multi-level teams internally and externally and position requires strong and friendly customer service skills must be aware of the need to able to be adapt quickly to change demonstrate time management skills be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. With high volume of incoming data it is essential to have a strong understanding consisting of 1 to 2 years work experience in Microsoft Excel to be able to analyze validate and correct discrepancies.
Duties include but not limited to the coordination of business function related to day-today operation of the Hospitalist Program outlined below.
Process monthly shift payments shift data tracking send quarterly pay scorecards and validate shift pay
Gather and populate data for dashboards
Maintain provider schedules and provide training on scheduling system
Monitor credentialing and reappointment status and serve as resource to providers throughout process.
Monitor ongoing requirements of providers related to licensing training etc.
Coordinate interview and onboarding itineraries
Schedule take action items and track action items after meeting on team planner
Troubleshoot and provide initial support for pagers scheduling system etc. and submit orders and request tickets with IT as needed
Maintain handbooks directories and process documentation
Maintain communication and support with regional locations
