Job Description
Day Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4:30pm
Night Shift Hours: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3:00am
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of the saw
- Fabrication support activities as cleaning steel and moving material
- Handle move and deliver material with forklift or other means to support Fabrication department
- Accurately record data in ERP system to capture part movement and cost
- Recommend and implement up-to-date manufacturing methods to increase productivity and reduce costs
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand the proper use of measuring instruments
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift safely
- Basic shop math skills as rounding positive/negative numbers metric system
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
- Ability to lift push pull up to 75 lbs.
