What Youll Be Doing
The Enterprise Innovation team plays a key role in CIBCs mission to build the bank of the future by providing the enterprise with human understandings of emerging trends and technologies driving hands on experimentation that deepen our insights into new opportunities and oncoming disruption growing CIBCs culture and community of innovation and working with partners across the bank to deliver new firsts for will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of innovation strategies and engagements that drive transformation and impact across the bank.

How Youll Succeed
Presentation and Storytelling - Simplify complex technologies and disruptive trends into relatable concepts craft personalized and impactful stories that inform and enable action
Research -
Cross Functional Teamwork - Lead cross functional teams comprised of peers other team members within Enterprise Tech and partner lines of businesses.
Engagement Planning and Execution - Translate potential opportunities into actionable plans that drive alignment provide transparency to stakeholders and balance the risk of failure at every stage.
Industry/Eco-System Engagement - Engage with external industry as required (FinTechs big tech academia Etc.) to explore new partnered powered opportunities while supporting CIBCs external brand and industry posture.
Who You Are
You are End User obsessed.You have the knowledge and discipline to organize different engagements and efforts in the context of your target end user needs. You have an ability to understand the target group of end users the impact youre trying to create and planned actions youll pursue to achieve the impact.
You have relevant experience in corporate development and management consulting. You are energized by the opportunity to work within the constructs of the bank and stakeholder interests to deliver new firsts for have demonstrated experience navigating the bank to create impact in the absence of existing process frameworks and precedence.
You are an Enterprise Entrepreneur. You view failure and frustration as necessary value added parts of the innovation process. You embrace ambiguity and are able to provide clarity/guidance as needed. You are proactive about finding answers to questions you dont know.
You are passionate about Innovation (whatever it means to you). You have a personal view of what innovation means to you and can demonstrate a passion in staying up to date on new innovations and industry activities. Innovation is more than just something you have to do at work.
You have well-developed project management and strategic business-planning skills. You have an ability to develop plans/tactics to support strategies & objectives.
Your influence makes an impact. You know that relationships and networks are essential to success. You inspire outcomes by making yourself heard.
You can demonstrate experience in innovation emerging technologies client experience transformation and revenue generation and developing business cases and business requirements
