Sr. Ergonomist, Global Ergonomics

We are looking for high-potential flexible innovative and forward-thinking professionals to join the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) Global Ergonomics Risk Programs team. Are you ready to drive high-visibility strategic musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) risk reduction programs as well as leverage Lean methodologies to lead process improvement initiatives We are expanding our team and looking for a talented Senior Ergonomist/Sr. Program Manager for our field ergonomics team which support our businesses across the globe. We are looking for a motivated organized self-starter to join as a Sr. Program Manager for the Global Job Rotations Expansion Strategy and Global Ergonomics Partnerships. In this role you will provide technical expertise by applying a variety of scientific techniques standardized assessments and problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions for musculoskeletal disorders and optimize performance.

The Sr. Program Manager will be part of the global ergonomics team to foster a global ergonomics partnership and support job rotations for associates across the globe. This Sr. Program Manager will be accountable for multiple VP and Director goals and will need to work closely with senior leaders in the WHS as well as key partner organizations (e.g. Operations ACES AFT Finance Legal and Procurement) to ensure success. The Sr. Program Manager will own job rotations partnership programs and mechanisms used by operations teams. The Sr. Program Manager will help own and launch Job Rotations for safety in multiple BUs across the globe. The Sr. Program Manager also will support in establishing partnerships and work closely with senior leaders to manage MSD risk reduction projects and programs.

analyze metrics and behaviors to draw key business insights.
close the feedback loop between Job Rotations users and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive job rotation compliance.
operate and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
be available to travel up to 50% of the time.
manage components of the MSD risk reduction projects through visibility across functional partners developing MSD interventions.
use knowledge and experience in Amazon warehouse operations/industry as well as excellent technical problem-solving and communication skills to support the Global Ergonomics Risk Programs team.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Extension experience of program or project management experience
- Experience managing analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelors degree in ergonomics industrial engineering mechanical engineering biomedical engineering or related fields with an emphasis in physical ergonomics/occupational biomechanics

- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel Access SQL or other data management systems
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
- Experience working with the Staffing Command Center Tool or alternate labor management tools
- Knowledge and skill applying predetermined motion time systems including but not limited to: MTM MOST MODAPTS or equivalent.
- Knowledge and skill with CAD applications is advantageous
- Masters degree in ergonomics industrial engineering mechanical engineering biomedical engineering or related fields with a strong emphasis in physical ergonomics/occupational biomechanics
- Ergonomic Certification (AEP CPE Chartered Ergonomist and Human Factors Specialist or equivalent) or ability to become certified required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
