Join Our Award-Winning Housekeeping Team as a part-time Environmental Tech.

At Country Manor in Sartell MN we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Environmental Tech part-time. This position will work 2:00 pm-8:30 pm alternating 3 days/4 days per week every other weekend and every other holiday.
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe clean and odor-free living environment for residents and family. Be part of an award-winning team enjoy a hands-on environment and build connections that enrich the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

As an Environmental Tech you will:
- Perform housekeeping duties such as disinfecting dusting mopping cleaning mirrors walls and floors emptying garbage organizing furniture vacuuming and other related duties.
- Use supplies per manufacturer guidelines and take care of cleaning equipment such as buffers carts vacuum cleaners extractors etc.
- Keep work areas and utility rooms neat and orderly.
- Report needed improvements and repairs to Director of Housekeeping and Laundry.
- Maintain good rapport with residents families and visitors and refer all medical or personal care questions to the nurse in charge.
- Responsible for organizing and completing scheduled duties and special projects as assigned.
- Responsible to know and comply with facility and department safety rules.
- Assist with supply inventory for scheduled projects.
- Vacuum facility hallways.
- Collect and dispose of all refuse from designated locations and operate trash compactor as assigned.
- Sweep and mop all Care Center dining rooms daily.
- Scrub the kitchen floors daily.
- Carpet shampooing buffing floors stripping and waxing floors as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able and willing to assume responsibility for the sanitation and cleanliness of assigned work areas throughout the facility.
- Must have ability to understand and follow directions both oral and written.
- Must be able to work with residents supervisors and peers in a cooperative and helpful manner.
- Must have physical and mental health sufficient to perform job tasks.
- Must be neat in appearance and in uniform at all times including name badge.
- Must conform to and follow established routines philosophy and objectives of the facility.
- Experience in housekeeping duties and operating housekeeping equipment preferred but not required.
- Experience with floor care equipment i.e. scrubber extractor wax strippers & wax.
- Must display a great deal of patience consideration and tact when dealing with staff tenants visitors and residents.
- Must be able to operate trash compactor.
