Description

This is a seasonal position on our rooftop deck. Staff will be tasked with maintaining the appearance and functionality of the deck.

The Sundeck Attendant will help foster the culture of EBC by maintaining the clubs areas clean and organized while providing friendly hospitable and professional assistance to members and guests.

Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour. This role is considered entry level.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patrol all areas of the deck and inspect cleanliness while cleaning as needed.
  • Gather and remove dirty towels from drop-off bins and any towels left on chairs.
  • Straighten all furniture on the sundeck.
  • Replenish all clean towel bins at their designated stations.
  • Remove all garbage from the trash bins.
  • Help and assist in the setup of catering functions on the sundeck.
  • Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning the kids pool water line power-washing sections of the deck etc.
  • All other job duties as assigned by management.


Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA. We use E-Verify.
  • At least one year of experience in a previous housekeeping or related role.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods of time at least 8 hours.
  • Must be able to push pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in exposed elements such as the sun light rain wind etc.
  • Must be able to work 35 - 40 hours per week weekends holidays and be flexible with schedules.

Holidays such as Memorial Day 4th of July and Labor Day are paid double time. Staff will be cross trained in the laundry to fill in when we have inclement weather. The season typically runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
