Exciting opportunity for an RN Navigator in our Medical Oncology Department!
Registered Nurse with Medical Oncology experience preferred!
This is a part-time day shift position!
As the RN Navigator you will:
- Provides individualized assistance to patients families and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients.
- Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services. Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians patients and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment.
- Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory imaging and other specialty areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Current Colorado RN license
- BSN
- OCN certification preferred.
- BLS (AHA)
Experience:
- Experience in the oncology program of the hospital.
SALARY RANGE
- $39.96 to $59.95/hour (BSN)
- Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
- Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN BSN MSN
