Job Description

Overview:
Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a skilled Project Manager with strong experience in water and wastewater infrastructure to support public-sector capital improvement initiatives. This onsite position in Austin TX focuses on overseeing the design and construction of essential utility projects in a dynamic public-sector setting

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction completion.
  • Track scope schedule and budget to ensure alignment with project goals and public safety standards.
  • Collaborate with consultants contractors utility entities and various departments to ensure project success.
  • Prepare project documentation technical reports and status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct field visits attend project meetings and participate in inspections and public engagement activities.
  • Report directly to a designated Project Management Supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in water and wastewater systems.
  • Familiarity with public utility standards permitting and compliance regulations.
  • PMP certification.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines.
