Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

We have full time and part time roles available basedin our GTA locations (TorontoandScarborough)

What you will be doing:

• You will be responsible for delivering care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-based Rehabilitation Program and must be able to work in a dynamic environment while facilitating relationships between families schools and the local healthcare systems.
• You will work collaboratively to provide patient care both virtually and with in-person visits.
• Responsible for providing services involving short-term consultation training and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs.
• You will be responsible for assessing and treating pediatric clients with various needs which include but is not limited to: speech sound delays and disorders motor speech challenges stuttering and voice disorders.
• You thrive on being a self-starter and can work well under minimal supervision.
• You can work in a team but are proven to be reliable while working independently.
• Add assign and supervise Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA) as clinically appropriate.

Skills needed for success:

• You are a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who loves to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Thorough understanding of relevant legislation regulations and policies applicable to practice.
• Know principles of reflective practice.
• Use a systematic approach to decision-making during the development implementation and evaluation of clients.
• You are safety-focused and accountable.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask conflicting priorities.
• You have Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Have current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
• Must have a current valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
• Ability to speak French would be considered an Asset.
