Job Description
smartdept. inc. is searching for aGraphic Designerfor aRetail Display Manufacturingclient inKansas City Missouri. The ideal candidate will have2-3 years of experience in print orpackaging production. This is a contract-to-hireopportunity. The pay for this position is expected to be$20/hr - $25/hr depending on level of experience.
What Youll Do:
- Responsible for conceptual ideas in the form of 3d renderings and graphic design work related to package and point-of-purchasing displays
- Artwork development optimizing of customer-provided graphics creative input/brainstorming meetings conceptual 3d renderings and development of assembly instructions
- Responsible for pre-flighting and optimizing customer-provided graphic files for high-speed digital inkjet print production
- Reviewing and prepping graphics for print production prepping files for printed samples generating PDF proofs inspecting press sheets and running color reports
What Youll Need:
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (open to learning ancillary programs such as 3DS Max Artios CAD)
- The individual for this role should be creative and detail-oriented
- 2-3 years of experience in print and packaging production
