Director of Compliance / Assistant RNAC (Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator)
Location:Davidsville PA
Onsite Position (with occasional flexibility as needed)
Full-Time
SALARY- $98222/ Per year
$48.00/ Per hour

We are seeking a highly qualified Director of Compliance / Assistant RNAC to support the MDS and care planning process while ensuring regulatory compliance across clinical operations. This dual role requires strong leadership meticulous attention to detail and extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations and assessment coordination.
Reports To:Nursing Home Administrator (NHA)
Qualifications:Active RN license in Pennsylvania (unencumbered)
Minimum 2 years of recent RNAC experience in long-term care (within the past 3 years) required
RAC-CT Certification preferred
Completion of accredited assessment course preferred
Experience with EMR and computer documentation systems
Sound judgment professionalism and ability to work collaboratively
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Coordinate and track MDS assessments and care planning due dates
Facilitate interdisciplinary care plan meetings and family communications
Enter and validate MDS RAPs Triggers and RUGs data
Develop and review baseline and comprehensive care plans
Collaborate with therapy billing and leadership on PDPM processes
Conduct physical assessments and consult with physicians as needed
Provide education and compliance oversight to nursing staff
Support admission care plans and 72-hour meetings for new residents
Conduct QA reviews and participate in the Quality Assurance Council
Monitor M.D. visit compliance and charting/documentation standards
Review and revise forms processes and policies to meet state and federal requirements
Maintain HIPAA compliance and support corporate compliance initiatives
Identify areas of risk and implement corrective actions in conjunction with DON
Complete all required HIPAA privacy and compliance training annually
Support facility leadership during audits and regulatory inspections
Provide relief and coverage for RNAC DON or RN Supervisor as needed
Perform skilled nursing procedures (e.g. venipuncture) as authorized
Conduct rounds and ensure continuity and quality of resident care
Coach mentor and train staff in documentation assessment and compliance
Demonstrate effective communication and professionalism in all interactions
Standard: Monday Friday 8-hour shifts
Flexible scheduling may be available
May require occasional evenings weekends or holidays depending on need
Active clinical setting with regular exposure to residents staff and medical teams
Potential exposure to infectious diseases (including COVID-19 HBV HIV)
Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move throughout the facility
Must be able to handle emotional or stressful situations involving residents or families
