Seeking a Maintenance Technician in Denton TX to work 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday OT required based on business need.
Summary
This is an entry-level apprenticeship role that leads into the Test Technician II position. The individual in this role must be able to carry out the listed technical tasks efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Display fundamental understanding of refrigeration and electrical components including their functions and correct operation.
- Possess working familiarity with HVAC systems and dehumidification equipment.
- Understand various types of refrigerant gases such as R-134 R-407C and R-410A.
- Demonstrate basic industrial electrical skills to diagnose and repair HVAC or environmental control systems.
- Be willing to support and assist the Test Technician II as needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
- One to two years of relevant experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent mix of education and experience to qualify for advancement to the next level.
- Capable of using appropriate diagnostic tools and instruments such as meters and refrigeration gauges.
- Must apply all safety protocols when handling electrical and pressurized systems.

Mathematical Skills
- Must understand HVAC-related formulas for equipment sizing and selection.
- Must have a full grasp of psychrometrics and the calculations used within psychrometric analysis.
