Job Description

Radiology/Interventional Radiology Permanent Role
  • Location: Grapevine TX 76051
  • Shift: 8 HR Days 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
  • Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions:
  • Perform high-quality Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures according to exam protocols in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow AIDET communication techniques to ensure patient-centered care and service excellence.
  • Verify correct patient identity and the appropriate exam prior to procedure.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding procedures and obtain necessary consents.
  • Assess patients ability to tolerate procedures and ensure proper positioning and comfort.
  • Use sterile technique and proper safety protocols when setting up and performing multimodality procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and quality standards of equipment and work area.
  • Report and document any equipment malfunctions or concerns to the appropriate department or manager.
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedural records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation including patient history pregnancy status shielding use and consent forms.
  • Screen individuals entering the department for safety compliance in line with institutional policies.

  • Strong ability to perform IR procedures independently and accurately.
  • Effective communication and patient-relations skills to ensure understanding and comfort.
  • Capable of delivering services efficiently while meeting clinical and safety standards.
  • Skilled in emergency response including first aid and crash cart usage.
  • Able to remain calm professional and patient-focused during high-stress situations.
  • Demonstrates competency in care across all age groups: neonatal pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric.
  • Committed to ongoing education and maintaining current knowledge in interventional radiology practices.
  • Participates in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Licensure & Certification Requirements:
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification Required
  • Must obtain one of the following within 2 years of hire:
    • ARRT-CI Cardiac Interventional Radiography
    • ARRT-CV Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
    • ARRT-VI Interventional Radiography.
