Job Title: Spill Technician
Pay Rate: $17$19/hour (Depending on Experience)
Location: Tulsa OK
Hours: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (Hours may vary depending on company needs; weekend and on-call work may be required)
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Spill Technician to join a responsive environmental services team in Tulsa OK. This role supports spill containment and response operations in both land and marine environments. Ideal candidates will have a mechanical aptitude strong work ethic and a willingness to respond to emergencies under varying conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the deployment and recovery of oil spill containment boom and related equipment
Support emergency spill response efforts on land and water under direction of senior technicians
Clean inspect and maintain response tools including skimmers pumps and absorbents
Load and unload materials and equipment for field operations
Perform general shop duties including inventory management equipment preparation and maintaining a clean workspace
Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
Participate in scheduled training sessions and emergency drills
Required Skills & Experience
Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments
Experience operating forklifts and performing shipping/receiving tasks
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools
Valid drivers license required
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Willingness to travel and work irregular hours including nights and weekends during emergency responses
