Job Title: Assembly Technician
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Tulsa OK
Pay Rate: $17.00 $18.50/hour (Depending on Experience)
Shift: Monday Thursday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join a growing team of Assembly Technicians in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are goal-driven eager to grow with a company and work well in a team-oriented environment. Technicians will review work orders acquire necessary parts and collaborate with manufacturing teams. Basic knowledge of testing procedures and techniques is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assemble or repair components and products using hand and power tools
Read and interpret technical documents blueprints schematics and written/verbal instructions
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Meet all company and industry safety standards
Identify and resolve problems using logical reasoning
Assist with product improvement through repair and maintenance support
Document testing procedures data observations and results
Perform electrical wiring and rivet components together
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Experience with hand and power tools
Proven experience with electrical wiring and riveting
Ability to follow both written and oral instructions
Knowledge of mechanical assemblies and production standards
Able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while standing or sitting for extended periods
Must meet quality and production expectations
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This is a safety-sensitive position involving tasks that may affect the safety and health of the employee or others. This includes:
Handling packaging storing and transporting hazardous materials
Operating vehicles machinery equipment and power tools
Repairing maintaining and monitoring production equipment and systems
Oversight of critical infrastructure such as utilities or power generation
Manufacturing or handling flammable combustible or regulated materials
Approximately 95 of each shift involves standing bending squatting and climbing while assembling inspecting or monitoring machinery and processes.
