Job Description

Job Summary:

One of our clients a property management company committed to creating vibrant communities and enhancing the living experience for residents is currently looking for an experienced and results-driven Property Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of several smaller multifamily properties and single-family homes across the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in property management operational oversight and resident relations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who values community operational excellence and delivering outstanding service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Property Management:

Manage the daily operations of a multi family community in Metro Atlanta

Implement effective systems for rent collection lease administration maintenance coordination and vendor management.

Monitor property budgets and prepare regular financial reports to support operational efficiency and profitability.

Ensure compliance with all applicable local state and federal housing regulations.

Staff Development and Leadership:

Supervise coach and support on-site property management and maintenance staff promoting continuous learning and professional development.

Hold regular team meetings to communicate company goals operational updates and performance expectations.

Establish and track performance metrics providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.

Partner with HR for the recruitment onboarding and retention of a skilled and motivated team.

Resident Relations and Community Engagement:

Build and maintain positive relationships with residents ensuring prompt professional handling of inquiries and concerns.

Coordinate community activities and events to foster resident engagement and neighborhood connection.

Maintain safe clean and welcoming environments across all managed properties.

Collaborate with local service providers and community partners to enhance resident services.

Business Development and Marketing:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates including online listings and local outreach initiatives.

Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to boost property visibility and referral opportunities.

Stay informed on local market trends and competitor properties to maintain competitive rental rates and service offerings.


Requirements

Qualifications:

A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Property Management or a related field is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in property management ideally overseeing multiple sites or scattered-site portfolios.

Strong leadership organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and resolve issues.

Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
