E-commerce Assistant with Marketing Support
Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week) Flexible hours but ideally to have few meetings in clients time zone

This innovative business operates a comprehensive facility equipped with cutting-edge technology including laser cutting laser etching direct-to-garment printing UV printing wide format printing DTF sublimation and embroidery services. As a federally incorporated company serving both Canadian and US markets they re building a unique B2B2C model where they create dedicated online shops for clients allowing end customers to browse pre-branded items and complete purchases with seamless fulfilment. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape the digital infrastructure of a rapidly growing company that s just six months into an exciting journey.
We re seeking a versatile E-commerce Assistant to spearhead our digital transformation and marketing initiatives. You ll be instrumental in building custom client portals developing our online presence and implementing marketing strategies that showcase our high-quality custom production capabilities. This role combines technical website development with creative marketing execution offering the perfect blend of analytical and creative challenges. You ll work directly with leadership to establish systems and processes that will scale with our growing business making a tangible impact on our success from day one.
- Design and develop custom client shops within our main website platform enabling seamless B2B2C transactions
- Create compelling landing pages and enhance website functionality using modern e-commerce platforms
- Execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns to increase product visibility and drive customer acquisition
- Manage automated email sequences and customer communication flows to nurture leads and retain customers
- Produce engaging visual content using tools like Canva for social media website and marketing materials
- Handle graphic design tasks including image optimization and vector file conversions
- Oversee inventory management systems SKU organization and CRM maintenance
- Support general e-commerce operations and contribute to online sales strategy development
- Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities and implement scalable solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience with e-commerce platforms and website development (no coding required) just as e-commerce specialist
- Strong background in digital marketing
- Proficiency in basic graphic design tools like Canva and basic image editing software
- Experience with email marketing automation and customer relationship management
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and e-commerce operations
- Previous experience supporting e-commerce businesses preferably in North American markets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Self-motivated with strong project management abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs and growth opportunities
