Compliance Training and H&S Manager
About the Role:
Occupli is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Compliance Training and H&S Manager based in Dublin. This is a pivotal leadership role within the Fire and Security Systems (F&SS) division responsible for managing and implementing compliance strategies overseeing training and development and ensuring health and safety standards are met across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day management of the compliance strategy across the F&SS business.
- Coordinate training needs with the Head of Operations and divisional managers.
- Oversee both internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and interpret relevant compliance standards and regulations identifying necessary actions in response to changes.
- Manage subcontractor compliance in line with group operating procedures.
- Act as the key point of contact for compliance training and health & safety queries across departments.
- Ensure full H&S compliance with current regulations and internal company standards prepare risk assessments method statements and conduct site audits as required.
- Deliver H&S training conduct accident investigations and facilitate toolbox talks.
- Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports and maintain accurate compliance register.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a compliance role or function.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Health & Safety management.
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety Compliance or a related discipline.
- Strong background in training delivery and development planning.
- Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced computer proficiency particularly with Microsoft Office Suite.
