Perfect Household Staff is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a professional proactive and trustworthy live-out or live-in Housekeeper to join a vibrant family household in Manchester. This is a full-time role in a truly remarkable spacious private home suitable for an experienced candidate seeking long-term stability and a warm working environment.
Our client is a welcoming and respectful professional with a dynamic household including two parents three children (ages 12 16 and 19) and a friendly chihuahua. The family are relocating to their newly built residence in early September 2025 and are seeking an individual with excellent initiative who can confidently run the home day to day and provide light family-style cooking. This household also supports businesses from home and has a high level of foot traffic so a calm and capable presence is key.
The property spans three floors includes seven bedrooms seven bathrooms a swimming pool gym home office and expansive open-plan living areas. The ideal candidate will be personable friendly and genuinely enjoy engaging with the family while still being able to manage tasks independently. The family are happy to consider both live-out and live-in applicants a private apartment is available within the residence if required.

Position Type: Permanent Full-Time Live-Out or Live-In

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days/week)
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: 20 25 gross per hour (depending on experience)
Children: 3 (ages 12 16 and 19; no special care required)
Pets: 1 chihuahua (basic pet care)
Driving: Full UK driving licence essential (manual & automatic preferred); possibility to use employer s car under fleet insurance
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Housekeeping: Full care of all living spaces including bedrooms bathrooms kitchen utility and gym areas
- Laundry & Ironing: Regular washing sorting folding and either light ironing or supervision of the household ironer
- Meal Preparation: Light meal prep oven-baked meals salads air fryer recipes; no formal cooking required
- Organising the Household: Keeping wardrobes drawers kitchen storage and utility areas tidy and efficient
- Errands & Shopping: Grocery restocking dry cleaning drop-offs and ad-hoc requests
- Pet Care: Feeding and occasional companionship for the family s small chihuahua
- Childcare Support: Occasional school/activity pick-ups or drop-offs; ensuring childrens spaces remain clean and organised
- Surface & Floor Care: Use of client-approved products especially on specialist flooring
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in private households
- Excellent checkable references
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Child-friendly and conversational
- Trustworthy discreet and hardworking
- Manual and automatic driving licence preferred
