Job Description
Due to continued growth in the energy sector were expanding our team and are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with MV & HV design experience to join us in our Hamilton or Auckland office.
How youll make a difference:
- Lead the technical design of projects involving HV and MV electrical equipment for clients across the generation industrial and transmission & distribution sectors.
- Deliver high-quality outcomes by ensuring projects are completed on time on budget and to the highest technical standards.
- Produce clear concise technical reports and proposal documents that support project success.
- Communicate technical information confidently with both internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications :
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired but if you dont tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply all applications will be considered.
The qualities that help you thrive:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
- 5 years of experience in MV & HV equipment design e.g. cables switchgear transformers etc.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as CDEGS CYMCAP or similar
- Valid drivers licence
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is desirable but not essential
