Job Description

Danvers Public Schools is seeking reliable flexible and enthusiastic Substitute Teachers to join our Extended Year Program team. Substitute teachers will step in for special education teachers as needed maintaining a positive and productive learning environment and ensuring continuity of instruction. This is a non-benefited part-time seasonal position for the 2025 summer. This is a Monday-through-Thursday program running from July 7 2025 to August 7 2025Reports to ESY CoordinatorKey Responsibilities:

Deliver prepared lesson plans and activities as directed by the special education teacher or ESY coordinator

Manage classroom behavior and foster a safe respectful learning environment

Support the academic social and emotional development of all students

Communicate effectively with program staff and administrators

Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records as required
