Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Associate Software Engineering - Test
Job Location: Salt Lake City UT
Schedule: 9/80:Employees work 9 out of every 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and have every other Friday off
Job Description:
L3Harris is hiring for a Software Engineer in the Test Engineering organization to develop automated tests for product testing.
Essential Functions:
- Develop automated test
- Familiar with NI TestStand and LabVIEW programming language
- Work closely with hardware and system engineers in Test Engineering team
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Wireless Engineering Information Security Mathematics Digital Arts & Sciences or related field
Preferred Additional Skills:
- An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelors with a year of experience in an Engineering discipline (preferably Software Engineering) experience
- Understanding of engineering process and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop test and deploy test systems
- Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
- Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrate experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects
- Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand development
- Understanding of software practices and L3Harris programs and products
- Have analytical project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and Microsoft Project
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
