AWS Local Zones are transforming how businesses interact with the cloud placing essential AWS services nearer to population centers and industry hubs helping customers build low latency applications and meet sovereignty requirements. The Local Zones team is looking for a passionate and seasoned product leader to be at the forefront of bringing the cloud closer to more of our customers enabling new possibilities in low-latency computing and data sovereignty.
As a Principal Product Manager youll craft and execute a innovative product strategy that anticipates market trends and customer needs. Youll lead cross-functional teams bringing together engineering design and operations to turn novel ideas into reality. This is a high visibility and high impact role that extends beyond product development youll also be a key player in shaping go-to-market strategies collaborating with sales and marketing teams to drive adoption and showcase the value of Local Zones to a global audience.

You should have a proven track record of delivering complex technical products and the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you navigate the challenges of global expansion and data sovereignty. Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for AWS Local Zones.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design build and launch new creative solutions.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to position AWS Local Zones as the leading solution for low-latency and data residency use cases.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings.

- 7 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 5 years of technical (software development network development IT other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle from concept through GTM (go to market)
- MBA or a masters degree in computer science engineering or marketing
- Experience delivering enterprise infrastructure products and services
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience managing complex projects across cross functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
