About The Role: Our Production Operator manages our spray dryer process to ensure quality finished products for Selkos customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating spray dryer and all ancillary equipment which includes feed tanks/pumps/valves fluidized bed cooler vibratory screen and conveying equipment
- Responsible for ensuring the spray dryer feed meets quality specifications prior to drying and then monitoring finished product to customer specifications
- Periodically inspects and executes maintenance tasks on the production equipment signalling defects and deficiencies
- Logs data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks / systems in order to have a complete administration and insight in the state and progress of production orders
- Signals deviations in current processes techniques and/or systems and flags opportunities for improvement with supervisor in order to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes tools and systems.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
- 4 years production operator experience in a manufacturing environment
Expectation from the Role:
- Must gain a working knowledge of process chemistry
- 24/7 shifts
