Job Description
Are you someone who takes pride in cleanliness teamwork and creating a smooth kitchen operation The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research is hiring aPart-Time Dishwasher to support our food and beverage services by keeping everything spotless safe and running efficiently behind the scenes.
In this vital role youll wash and sanitize dishes utensils equipment and work areashelping create a clean organized kitchen environment for both our staff and guests. Whether youre working in the dish room beverage station or food prep area your efforts will make a real difference every day.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes pots utensils and food-service equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the kitchen including floors surfaces and storage areas
- Operatedish washing machines safely and according to procedures
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and check chemical levels regularly
- Stock incoming food and non-food items
- Remove damaged items from service and properly dispose of waste
- Perform deep cleaning duties and maintain a safe work environment
- Attend requiredtrainings and departmental meetings
- Follow sanitation and safety standards at all times
- Assist with various kitchen or service area tasks as assigned
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced physically active environment
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) cleaning anddish washing procedures
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- Dependable adaptable and committed to team success
