Lead a value stream operation within a manufacturing plant aligning metrics with plant goals.
Drive operational performance in safety quality delivery cost and team culture.
Manage resources oversee cross-functional teams and foster collaboration to meet objectives.
Guide and mentor Area Leaders and Team Leaders for optimal performance.
Ensure the deployment and adherence to standardized work and 5S principles.
Continuous Improvement
Champion continuous improvement through the Appliance Production System philosophy.
Identify inefficiencies and lead problem-solving initiatives to eliminate waste.
Proactively resolve challenges utilizing root cause analysis to implement sustainable solutions.
Quality Excellence
Uphold and enhance quality standards throughout the value stream.
Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to drive improvements in key metrics like First Pass Yield and Service Call Rate (SCR).
Embed quality principles into standardized work to meet design specifications.
Safety Focus
Cultivate a safety-first culture ensuring adherence to safety programs and practices.
Lead safety initiatives conduct audits and oversee timely accident investigations to drive corrective actions.
Inspiring Leadership
Provide mentorship and career coaching to team members fostering talent development.
Partner with HR on policies investigations and disciplinary actions to maintain a fair and equitable workplace.
Empower future leaders by creating growth opportunities within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related technical field with 5 years of leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing OR equivalent education/experience.
Communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
Proven ability to solve complex manufacturing challenges independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
7 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing operations.
Black Belt or equivalent certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Demonstrated success in driving measurable results through analytical problem-solving.
Familiarity with appliance manufacturing processes.
