Job Description
Work Schedule:
80% FTE 32 Hours per week. Shifts scheduled from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm 4 weekdays per week. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic.
Pay:
- The pay range listed reflects both titles.
- Pay range is based on a full-time (100%) position.

We are seeking anOutpatient Pediatric Clinical Speech Language Pathologistto:
- Provide consultative and developmentally appropriate habilitative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex pediatric patients (infant to adolescent) in an outpatient setting in the domains of swallow speech language and cognition.
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based patient and family treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes.
- Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care as part of a primary and specialty care academic medical center.
- Seek continual learning opportunities to advance ones own practice and educate others.

Education:
Minimum Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
Work Experience:
Minimum
- Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
- Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
- Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech language cognition voice airway resonance or swallow therapy)
Preferred
- Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
- Seven (7) or more years of clinical experience post Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship
- Experience in diagnostics specific to area of specialty
- Experience in providing therapy in the relevant area of specialty (e.g. speech language cognition voice airway resonance or swallow therapy)
- Experience supervising a learner.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum
- WI Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ASHA certified (CCC-SLP) or eligible for certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire
Preferred - Board Certification in Area of Specialty if available (e.g. BCSS for swallow subspecialty)
