This is what are we looking for
We are looking for an intern to support our team for finance & business control activities. Specifically the role would entail
1. Supporting in the preparation of financial reports for management review
2. Supporting in the preparation of statutory reports for submission to regulatory authorities
3. Participation in monthly financial closing activities.
The role is for 1 day / week with an additional day every other week i.e. approx. 6 days per month. Start date is 1-August-2025. Initial duration will be for 3 months with possibility to extend for an additional 3 months.
What you will do from day to day
A day during the assignment would involve working in our accounting system to download data. Thereafter you would analyze the data to generate reports that would be used to discuss with the company management. You will assist in the preparation of reports that will be reported to authorities such as for EU inter-state transfer of goods etc. At the close of the month you will work closely with other members of the Planning & Control team and the business teams to prepare data for monthly closing.

The Planning & Control team within SNCN is a dynamic team of high performing individuals supporting the business. The team has broad responsibility & includes responsibility to drive key business processes such as P2P R2R & O2C processes within SNCN. Due to this broad set of responsibilities the team is integral to the smooth functioning of the various businesses. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to get insight into the various processes that enable the smooth running of a company. You will also have a chance to understand the various regulatory requirements on corporate entities giving the strong foundation for a budding CFO and/or managing partner.
Competences we are looking for
- Being enrolled in a Swedish university is mandatory due to requirements on student working visa.
- Must have completed at least first 3 semesters of Bachelor studies in Economics (Ekonomie kandidat program) that cover the basics of economics & finance.
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Meriting in this role
Preferably have chosen Business Economics (Fretags ekonomi/Finansiell ekonomi) as the main area for specialization.
