Job Title: Short-Form Video Editor
Location: Remote (PST Time Zone)
Salary Range: up to 2000 USD
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (PST)

Position Overview:
Were looking for a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to turn live Zoom recordings team calls and client interviews into engaging high-quality content for social platforms like TikTok Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. Youll work with raw video files branded templates and clear direction to craft content that connects with business-savvy audiences. Quick turnarounds good judgment and a strong creative eye are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form video content from existing Zoom recordings and raw footage.
- Apply brand guidelines templates and subtitle styles consistently.
- Export content optimized for social channels (vertical platform-specific specs).
- Add subtitles (manually or via tools like Descript/CapCut).
- Select strong soundbites with minimal guidance.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure brand tone and quality.
- Meet 1-3-day turnaround deadlines per asset.
Qualifications:
- Strong portfolio of short-form video content (TikTok Reels YouTube Shorts).
- Proficient in at least one editing tool: CapCut Adobe Premiere Rush Final Cut Pro etc.
- Ability to add clear well-timed subtitles.
- Understanding of visual storytelling and social content formats.
- Solid communication skills and a reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and meet quick turnarounds.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience creating content for online education coaches or learning brands.
- Familiarity with tools like Descript Canva Notion or Airtable.
- Personal interest in business tech or leadership.
- Understanding of U.S.-based small business audiences and content trends.
- Light motion graphics or brand animations.
- Ability to create basic thumbnails or static assets.
