HR Manager County Antrim

  • Permanent
  • 35 hours per week (Mon Fri 9-4.30)
  • Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 WFH

Due to continued success our Client a leading well established engineering consultancy wishes to recruit an experienced operational HR Manager. This is an exciting new HR Management job headquartered in County Antrim and supporting sites in Dublin and London.

The successful HR Manager will be stand-alone and very hands on. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team the HR Manager will play a key role in shaping HR practices and provide expert advice and support on the full range of employee lifecycle activities from recruitment and succession planning to performance management employee relations and HR projects.

The Role

  • Stand-alone HR Management role supporting 3 offices
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with employment legislation in Northern Ireland.
  • Manage employee relations including handling queries about absence sickness pensions and benefits.
  • Oversee performance management including probation reviews and talent development.
  • Drive recruitment processes from job creation to shortlisting and onboarding.
  • Advise on and resolve any HR issues or employee relations matters.
  • Support succession planning and develop career pathways for employees.
  • Ensure compliance with vetting contracts and VISA processing.

The Person

  • 3rd level qualification in HR or related discipline CIPD qualification preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant HR experience.
  • Experience working within engineering construction or consultancy sectors would be advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of NI employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal organisational and problem-solving skills.
