EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Experience and/or training of sufficient scope and quality to show demonstrated competence in performing the journey level duties of a Fleet Mechanic III or equivalent.
Experience must have included the repair and overhaul of complex hydraulic and electrical systems on a variety of heavy vehicles such as dump trucks truck tractors and/or refuse trucks.
LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
1. An appropriate valid drivers license.
2. An appropriate valid commercial drivers license with proper endorsements prior to completion of probation.
3. A current State Department of Transportation medical examination certificate prior to appointment.
4. A certificate approved by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the servicing and disposal of refrigerants as required.
The above license and certificate must be maintained on a current basis thereafter as a condition of employment.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE EVALUATION:
