Job Description
Provide patient care in the clinic and hospital settings and also provide physician support for the Infectious Control and Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship programs. In the hospital practice provide consultations/follow ups for a large variety of infections: endocarditis orthopedic infections HIV/AIDS pneumonias zoonotic diseases complicated soft tissue infections endemic mycoses tick-borne diseases minority of transplant-related infections. In the clinic practice see patients for post-hospital follow ups travel clinic referrals from other physicians and e-consults to connected Critical Care Access hospitals.
Qualifications
MD DO or foreign degree equivalent. Eligible for Wisconsin medical license. BE/BC in Infectious Diseases or in final year of ACGME-accredited program leading to board eligibility in Infectious Diseases.
