The purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership supervision and tailored training within the assigned department ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with the organizations mission and values. The Supervisor will lead daily operations directly support the development of contracts coordinators and cultivate a team culture rooted in collaboration emotional intelligence professionalism and accountability.
This role requires experience managing professionals with varying experience levels and the ability to facilitate hands-on or non-traditional learning experiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate the interpersonal finesse and adaptability to address sensitive team dynamics while promoting mutual respect clarity and high standards of service and performance.
Lead motivate and coach team members to build a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Provide ongoing individual and group training aligned with non-traditional and hands-on in person learning styles ensuring staff development across diverse experience levels.
Mentor coordinators while modeling self-awareness professionalism and clear communication.
Guide coordinators through organizational change and evolving systems by fostering adaptability and responsiveness.
Proactively address interpersonal dynamics encourage accountability and reinforce respect for leadership direction.
Ensure efficient daily operations and proactively improve workflow processes across the department.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align policies and promote high-quality outcomes.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration and effective communication at all levels.
Monitor performance using clear metrics and provide actionable feedback and support.
Ensure compliance with agency policies and quality assurance standards through regular reviews.
Respond thoughtfully to challenges drawing from both team input and leadership goals to identify solutions.
Deliver services that prioritize customer satisfaction responsiveness and continuous improvement.
Maintain responsible oversight of department resources ensuring alignment with budget and agency priorities.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
This position requires in-depth understanding of program administration agency procedures and applicable legislation. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership training and interpersonal communication skills particularly the ability to address complex team dynamics with fairness and emotional intelligence. Strategic planning performance evaluation and the ability to make data-informed decisions are essential as is the ability to guide team members through change management processes.

A masters degree and 2 years of professional experience OR
A bachelors degree and 3 years of professional experience OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience substituting 1 year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.
Demonstrated experience managing professional teams including coaching mentorship and handling performance challenges across diverse learning styles and experience levels.
Proven success in training adults in non-traditional hands-on or system-based workflows.
High degree of self-awareness emotional intelligence and the ability to promote these traits within a team.
Experience fostering team alignment in environments characterized by rapid change varied learning paces or organizational restructuring.
Familiarity with contracts administration compliance or state-level government processes is strongly preferred.
Experience and knowledge of the Oklahoma state procurement process.
In-depth knowledge of agency policies program administration principles and applicable state and federal legislation.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets or departmental resources effectively.
Must be able to remain sitting for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to move or lift up to 15 pounds at various times.
The office work environment includes regular exposure to general office equipment such as computer equipment phones and copy machines.
