Assistant Bid Coordinator: Coordinate bid opportunities and information for Bid Desk Sales Project Engineering and Management.


Job Type: Part-Time 20 hours per week within 4 - 5 days per week

Workplace Type: Hybrid: Flex for your day 2 days per week in person

Office Location: Gaithersburg MD


Essential Duties:

- Maintain a good channel of communication between Bid Desk Project Engineering Team Sales Departments and external clients

- Assist with preparing bid information and reports for the Bid Desk Project Engineering Team Sales Teams and others as deemed necessary

- Manage and respond to a high volume of emails efficiently while meeting tight deadlines

- Assist Bid Coordinator Sales and Sales Support with their clients requests

- Process and maintain electronic bid files

- Maintain CRM module

- Support and enhance new processes for efficiency to better serve both internal and external clients

- Fulfill requests from other Trane offices for bidding

- Back up to Bid Coordinator

- Other duties as assigned


Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or other software as deemed necessary to perform duties

- Familiar with mechanical drawings and blueprints is preferred

- Minimum 1-3 years of administrative experience

- Client service experience quick learner and ability to adapt

- Sense of urgency self-sufficient organized strong communication and writing skills
