About this Job
This posting is for a full-time 9-month unclassified faculty position for our Natchitoches Campus.
Anticipated start date is August 11 2025.

Education requirement:
- Associate degree in Nursing.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Current and valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Louisiana.
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year as medical-surgical hospital staff nurse providing direct patient care.
- Must have practiced as a nurse for a minimum of six (6) full-time months during the three (3) years immediately preceding appointment.
Skills:
- Competence in the use of computer technology to deliver instruction.
- Effective skills in writing speaking listening and time management.
- Commitment to work self-motivation professionalism and team relations.
Job Duties and Other Information
Instructor duties to include but not limited to instruction of students. Contributions to the continued development of the curriculum. Participation in professional growth and community service. Maintenance of conference and academic advising hours. Participation in committees as assigned.
